Rehgehstoy: the Art. Used to refer to a writer's mastery of the Skill.
This game is a simulation of the Art, the process by which the D'ni people wrote special Linking Books which transported them to fantastic worlds called Ages.
Update! v.02:
- Grammatically incorrect word buttons are hidden
- Fixed age uploading on windows
- Words for "mountain" and "shaft" have more pronounced effects when they're the only feature
- Word limit in books
v .01:
- Added a shared library where you can edit books and other people from the internet will see them.
Grammar:
This game uses a highly simplified version of the D'ni grammar. Phrases are made up of one noun followed by an arbitrary number of adjectives. Each adjective can be modified by an adverb. Experiment with different phrases to see how words effect each other!
Controls:
Click words from the left to add them to the book on the right. Click the words on the right to delete them.
Click on the linking panel to link to the world.
WASD + space + mouse when in an age, Escape or Q to link back to the age writing screen.
